Small Square 12

The house located in the Small Square at number 12, a historic monument, is part of the second row of fortifications of the Upper Town, the defining element being the loggia on the ground floor, vaulted and open to the square, characteristic of the commercial spaces that were here in the past. It belongs to the Gothic style, being one of the last buildings in the Small Square to preserve elements characteristic of the period: pinnacles, carpentry, ribbed cross vaults. Modul 28 team drew up a project covering repairs to the roofing, restoration of the stone components by the restoration specialist, restoration of the decorations using the drawn profile technique, protection of the areas where decorative frescoes were found, and followed the restoration work on the facades to the two squares, paying particular attention to preserving the historical substance, marking the discoveries made on site and restoring the original image of the building.
